Oregon Black Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization operated exclusively for charitable purposes.
To provide tangible transitional education opportunities; promote equity through eliminating disparities and valuing diversity by working with high school, community college, and university students to support traditional education or technical skills training that galvanizes the entrepreneur spirit for future community and business leaders.
On March 19, 2012 the Oregon Black Education Foundation was legally formed as a nonprofit organization as defined by ORS Chapter 65 and organized to operate exclusively for charitable purposes. Subject to the limitations stated in the Article of Incorporation, the purpose being to engage in lawful activities, none of which are for profit under Chapter 65 of the Oregon Revised Statutes (or its corresponding future provisions) and 501 (c)(3) of the IRS (or its corresponding future provisions).
